The leading vendors in cloud rely on our platform to give their sales and marketing teams an unfair advantage in finding and acquiring new customers, getting proactive notification of sales cycles, spotting churn before it happens, and much more.

The Intricately data platform powers the go-to-market strategy for many of the leading cloud service providers. These organizations rely on Intricately to forecast market potential, plan and prioritize territories and quotas, and engage prospects at the right time with the right message. Want to see what we can do for your organization?

We’ve spent the past five years building and refining our global sensor network which collects data on digital product usage, applications, traffic. Providing us with detailed insight on more than 7M businesses worldwide and the usage characteristics on 21,000 and growing cloud products.

We are collecting this data from the public internet, we are not in-line (from a traffic perspective), nor do our customers provide us with any usage data. This means we are able to monitor publicly-accessible products and infrastructure. Although increasingly, many on-prem and behind-firewall products have a public component to their product, which our sensors are able to monitor.

As more and more businesses move to the cloud, Teradata has heard their customers and offer a cloud solution called IntelliCloud. These are various instances of Teradata databases running on servers in AWS, Azure & Google Cloud.

With the cloud product, pricing is charged on a per hour basis depending on how large of a Teradata server is provisioned. With all of this data, it is paramount to secure this information. Intricately has shown that 98% of Teradata customers run security applications. With data breaches occurring on a near-daily basis, hosting data in the cloud is a CIO’s top decision making criteria when moving workloads from on-premise data centers. (According to CIO.com)

Teradata’s top customers are SAP, Yandex, Vodafone, BT and Verizon. Each of these companies use Teradata’s products to gain better insight about their customers. Take for example, Vodafone. They were able to build a predictive model that identifies youth customers for their pre-paid mobile phone plans. This resulted in increased purchases of pre-paid plans that were catered towards the youth demographic.

There are many competitors in the data warehousing space. The significant competitor in the cloud is AWS Redshift, which is Amazon’s data warehouse as a service product. AWS Redshift offers similar feature sets such as parallel queries, ODBC/JDBC support to connect to various database systems, as well as an on-demand pricing model where you pay for storage and the amount of time the data warehouse is run.
